Parkside Picnic Basket

We offer a Parkside Picnic Basket as an add-on to your stay – perfect for an afternoon in Lithia Park, before an OSF matinee, or a leisurely drive through the Applegate Valley. 

Each picnic includes a homemade chilled main dish, a fresh side and/or salad, a sweet treat, beverages, and all the essentials you need for relaxed outdoor dining – packed and ready to go. Guests choose their menu in advance, and we take care of the details.

This is an optional add-on – please order at least 48 hours in advance. Pricing is $38 per person.

What’s Included

Each picnic basket is prepared with the same homemade care and thoughtful touches you’ll enjoy at breakfast. Each serving includes:  

  • One specialty sandwich or main dish
  • One fresh side or salad
  • One sweet treat
  • Beverages
  • Reusable plates, cutlery, and cups
  • Cold packs to keep everything fresh
  • Trash bag and wet wipes for easy cleanup
  • Picnic blanket or tablecloth (upon request)

Please note: All baskets, blankets, and reusable contents are expected to be returned to the B&B in good condition. Guests will be charged for any items that need replacement.

Menu Options

When you order in advance, you will receive our current picnic menu about a week before check-in so you can make your selections. 

Dietary needs and allergies are always honored, though please note our kitchen is shared.

Selections vary based on season and availability. 

Mains 

  • Pressed Ciabatta Sandwiches
    • Italian – Ham, genoa sausage, roasted red pepper, spinach and/or arugula, basil pesto, olive oil, and seasonings)
    • Roasted Veggie – Eggplant, provolone, tomato, arugula, olive oil, and seasonings (vegetarian) 
  • Cold Sandwiches 
    • Curried Chicken Salad with on sourdough (House Favorite!) 
    • Classic Deli Sandwich – Choice of ham, turkey, or roast beef with Swiss, Gouda, or cheddar
  • Seasonal Specials (Our menu evolves with the seasons to showcase fresh, local ingredients whenever possible.) 
    • Savory quiches
    • Vegetable tarts 

NOTE: Sandwiches are served on the recommended bread or your choice of rye, sourdough, ciabatta, or gluten-free.

Chef’s Choice Option

Prefer to keep it simple? Choose our Chef’s Choice Picnic and we’ll select a seasonal main, one or more sides, a generous dessert, and beverage just for you. Dietary needs and allergies are always honored.

Ordering & Pickup

  • Picnic baskets must be ordered at least 48 hours in advance
  • Available as an optional add-on to your stay
  • Pickup time: 11:00 am – 1:00 pm. If you need a different time, please let us know when ordering.
  • Baskets are ideal for outdoor park picnics, but can be enjoyed indoors if plans change.
