Our First "Official" Guests
We welcomed our very first “official” guests this week—folks who aren’t family, friends, or acquaintances from past events. We met them at the front door as complete strangers; and honestly, we couldn’t have asked for a better introduction to this new chapter of our story.
Sue & Tim stayed two nights in our Campfire Room. They were thoughtful, gracious, and an absolute pleasure to host. Moreover, they embraced the spirit of what we’re building here with such kindness and enthusiasm, and left us feeling deeply encouraged, grateful, and even more excited for the journey ahead.
When we read the note they left in our guest book (shared here with their permission), it was incredibly moving. Their words were more than just kind—they were a beautiful reminder of why we chose to open our doors in the first place. If every guest is even half as lovely as these first were, we are in for something truly special.
